I caught it for the Kindle because it was free, and, like previous studies, I had a vague idea about the history of different versions of the cartoon.
I was very pleasantly surprised. I have not read anything by Washington Irving. The story is simple: the prose is easy to read, but in places is just amazing. Bounds picturesque descriptions of poetry. Irving wrote with a sense of humor, and he believes in the ability of the reader to connect the dots, so do not say so.
This reading of the short – in print, I think it would be 30-40 pages. One great thing to read about the Kindle has a dictionary function, because there are a number of archaic words that I do not know.
I give 5 stars for a combination of price and quality. If you want good writing, look at America (New York) in the late 18 th century, and a little crazy, go ahead and seize it – especially if it’s free!

So far I have only seen Cartoon Disney Legend of Sleepy Hallow I loved in childhood. History is very well written, and I caught the words and transported in Sleepy Hallow.

Not much to talk about “Sleepy Hollow” or Irving who have not yet said, but he gave me the feeling of reading this old American literature at the device to read later – Kindle! And it’s FREE! (You have to love the team in the public domain.)

A little more time reading than watching movies. I like Washington Irving describes each scene. His discriptive semantics are very different from those of someone else that I read. It will always be a classic and a pleasure to read.

It was a good story to read. Text taken from 1820 and the style and vocabulary are different from the present day and takes a little getting used to. However, if anyone remembers the 1949 Disney adaptation of the story, the film is very faithful to the book. In the light version, the quotation at the beginning of the book is read, and some of the names of about 70% -80% of the way through the book. Otherwise, I liked it.
